The Velo Soła cycling route will, in the future, be one of the most picturesque cycling routes in Poland. Cycle route no. 611 starts in Rajcza at the place where the Soła River begins and will lead to the river's mouth on the Vistula, connecting with the Vistula Cycling Route near Oświęcim. In the future, while riding the route along the Soła, we will ride along the Żywieckie, Międzybrodzkie and Czanieckie lakes. Everyone can ride the route - children included! There are no steep climbs or difficult sections. The advantage is great transport connections, because we ride almost all the time near the Żywiec - Zwardoń railway line, so like me, you can get to the beginning of the route by train and return by train at any time. There is not much information about this route on the Internet. I found a message that the entire Rajcza - Jezioro Żywieckie route is to be opened in August 2024, but after driving the entire section I found that this is not true, because the Węgierska Górka - Żywiec section is missing, which can be safely driven according to the GPX track that I am posting below.
