Recipe for Thermomix® TM6, TM5, TM31: 1-2 bulbs of garlic, depending on size 150 g sunflower oil, rapeseed oil or olive oil 1 dash of lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon salt Peel garlic: Remove approx. 120 g of garlic cloves from the bulb and place in the mixing bowl. 8 seconds / anti-clockwise - level 4 Weigh the peeled garlic cloves to 100 g and rinse the mixing bowl. Put the garlic cloves in the mixing bowl. 5 seconds / level 8 - push everything down with the spatula. Add the oil, lemon juice and salt to the garlic. 1 minute / level 7 Put the garlic paste in a sterile screw-top jar. It will keep for several months if stored in the fridge. 1 garlic clove = 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste SMALL NOTE: The garlic paste may turn greenish after a while. But then it is not bad. This is a chemical, natural process. When the garlic is chopped, sulphur compounds (yellow) are released. They gradually combine with the enzymes (blue) in the garlic. Yellow + blue = green.
