The leading front and rear axles with swinging half-axles provide independent up and down movements of each wheel, which in off-road conditions allows moving at a higher speed compared to the classic suspension, and also provides reliable traction with the surface. The power drive is located inside the backbone frame and is protected from external factors, which ensures a small number of failures and a long service life. Moreover, TATRA PHOENIX has four independent braking systems: service, emergency, parking brake and retarder. Also, the unique backbone frame of TATRA T158 significantly increases the comfort of the driver in the car. It is based on a transmission pipe, due to which the vibration level in the cabin is minimal. TATRA vehicles fit into the "Road dimensions", have a width of 2 meters 55 centimeters. Their maximum speed with a limiter of 85 kilometers per hour, which allows you to move both on public roads and off-road. The TATRA T158 has a high load capacity of 33 tons, which has a positive effect on the productivity of the work process.
