We are reviving this adaptation of the first episode (Russian Heritage) of the famous series Seven Lives on 7 Strings, shown at the 9th Brazilian Festival of Russia, directed by Pablo Francischelli. The series was televised a few years ago and today we have the great honor and opportunity to share it with you here on YouTube. The series SEVEN LIVES ON 7 STRINGS traces a broad and varied panel, at once musical and human, of the uses, customs and legends that surround this icon of Brazilian musicality, through the life and work of those who became famous plucking its strings. Portraying instrumentalists from different generations - with ages ranging from 19 to 70 - and from different Brazilian regions, the series presents instrumentalists who, over time, have modernized their language and expanded their musical possibilities beyond the limits of genre and conventions.
