An expedition led by the famous Russian polar explorer Vladimir Rusanov is entrusted with a serious mission - to explore coal deposits on Spitsbergen. On this dangerous journey, the scientist takes his fiancée, Frenchwoman Juliette Jean-Chessin. There are 15 people in the team. Almost all of them disappeared without a trace. Only three people returned from the journey. What happened to the group of scientists and the famous polar explorer?
