Recording date: October 1, 1984 (S59). I boarded at Koriyama (starting at 18:36), but there were no empty seats and it was crowded, so I couldn't record. A seat became available at Sukagawa, two stops away, so I recorded from the 18:56 departure from the same station. I took bulb shots of this train at Koriyama Station, so there are five shots in total. There were fans running inside the car, and since it was still relatively hot for the time of year, the windows of each box were fully open. Basically, it's uncut. There's also a 6-minute stop at Shirasaka at around 0:46:40, but it's the same as before. The chirping of insects gives you a sense of autumn. The tape is changed from Sukagawa to Shin-Shirakawa to Takaku to Kuroiso, but I tried to make it as unnatural as possible during editing. The train was pulled by an ED75, and I took some photos, but I wonder which one it was? I remember it was a poor photography trip with only a 100mm lens and black and white film at the time. Although the audio is an old tape and may be difficult to hear in some parts, we hope you enjoy the nostalgic sound of the joints made by old-fashioned passenger cars.
