During the Continuation War (1941-1944), the defense of the Rukajärvi front line was based mainly on field guard stations and patrol trips. Rukajärvi had a 210 km long front line, it started south of Lake Ontajärvi and continued to Kiimasjärvi. In this video, we explore the Rukajärvi Field Guards stations with the help of the war Archive photos. During the Continuation War 1941–1944, the defense of the Rukajärvi front line was mainly based on field guard stations and patrol trips made from them. Rukajärvi had a 210 km long front line, it started from the south side of Ontajärvi and continued to Kiimasjärvi. In this video, we get to know the Rukajärvi field guards with the help of pictures from the military archive.
