The Ruhr Valley Cycle Route from Witten to Duisburg is considered one of the most beautiful sections of the cycle path along the Ruhr and is known beyond the country's borders. We start at the Hohenstein monument in Witten and experience other highlights along the river such as the Hardenstein castle ruins, Kemnader Lake, Baldeney Lake and beyond that the beautiful floodplain landscapes of the Ruhr with the destination Rhein Orange in Duisburg.
