Slovakia. I've already walked more than 2,000 kilometers on it, but still sometimes I feel like I don't know it yet. I still manage to discover new places where I hardly meet any tourists. And I don't even have to get off the sidewalk for it. Just go straight after the red sign. Such tourism is also offered by Rudná magistrála, the third longest tourist route in Slovakia. Rudná Magistrala starts near Telgárt and ends in Zlaté Moravce. Therefore, it is completely different from the Cesta hrdinov SNP. Why ore? Because it connects cities and places that were historically connected with mining activity in our country. For example, Banská štiavnica, Detva, Nová Baňa or Zlaté Moravce. But don't worry, the route does not go through the mines, quite the opposite. You can look forward to virgin nature, absolute peace and solitude, beautiful Slovak mountains and also the opportunity to observe animals. "While most people spent August somewhere by the water, we threw on our heavy backpacks and spent a week in brown bear territory." The documentary film 242 km through the Slovak wilderness captures a journey along the Rudná magistrála, the third longest tourist route in Slovakia, leading through locations such as Muránska Planina or Glade. It is also a report about how easy it is to find new places here, where you hardly meet any tourists. ????
