Separated by the Wall, closed by the Reichsbahn in the West in 1980 and reopened in sections from 1994, the legendary Ringbahn can now return to the old days. We have documented the long and eventful history with many historical image sequences. Closure, decay, the Papestr. depot, the material train, operations on the Ostring, the Nordkreuz during the Wall era, the start of construction in the West and commissioning, old and new trains and finally the reconnection.
