The long-awaited roof construction is finally finished. I wanted to hurry up and make progress, but the rain was unusually frequent on the weekends in July, so the schedule was delayed. During the construction, Dongkuk Steel sent me a few items, one is a rotary cutter and one is a touch-up pen. With the rotary cutter, you can easily remove the protective film, and you can cover up any unavoidable scratches with the touch-up pen. These are great items used on site. The roof construction starts with the flashing at the entrance. When ordering panels, it is a good idea to prepare extra for the tricky parts that require cutting. We needed 4 flashings but ordered 1 more, and although we didn't use the extra, it is reassuring just to have an extra. After the entrance flashing, install the flashing where the roof and wall meet, then the next panel, and finally the top flashing. Of course, the exterior construction is done by stacking from the bottom considering the direction of water flow. Since there were not enough places to fix the pieces on the annex roof, a frame was installed that could be fixed from the inside. The panels should be fixed one at each end and no more than 1 meter in the middle, so you should work considering the installation conditions. It takes a long time, but the construction is not that difficult. Since it is a roof, you just need to be careful to work thoroughly with silicone when working on the pieces. Fortunately, there has been no leakage from the roof yet. Please check the video for more details!
