Rome is a city that attracts tourists all year round. The city, which seems chaotic at first glance, is full of attractions. We walked through the city almost non-stop for three days. Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but we certainly walked at least 15 km a day. The metro was also very close to our accommodation, so we easily reached the Vatican and the Colosseum. Although it is worth being very careful on the metro, because the Termini area is full of pickpockets. We bought tickets for many places online, so we didn't have to queue for tickets, which saved us a lot of time. I definitely recommend this, because it is worth buying tickets in advance. We saw a lot of things in three days. From the obligatory St. Peter's Basilica to the Colosseum to the Mouth of Truth, but we still didn't have time to visit everything. Don't believe that you can see the most famous sights of the city in one day, as some videos show. Oh, and if you're in town, sit down at a local restaurant and spend a nice evening with local food and drinks, just like we did.
