Roberts Lejasmejers and Candy record a joint song Famous restaurateur of Latvian dance music and remixer Roberts Lejasmejers, who until now had focused more on covers of previously known Latvian songs and made Jumprava's Ziemejmeita, Nora Bumbiere's Es vilu dejot bugi, as well as the songs of the groups Vaidava and Otra Puse into hits again, decided to focus on creativity this year. This week, the song Rīts ir tātu still, recorded in collaboration with the singer Lieni Bronuš, who is known by the stage name Candy and who, in parallel with Latvia, is also successfully building a career in Germany, will hit the radio stations this week. Roberts Lejasmejers about cooperation with Candy: - Not long before the song was recorded, I did not know Candy personally, but I knew that she has a pleasant and strong voice timbre. This led me to think that her vocals would also sound good in the dance music genre that my song was planned for. We hit it off very quickly during the recording and she did a great job. Candy also realized several of his ideas in the recording. I am very pleased with the work done. Speaking about why he decided to create something new himself, Roberts Lejasmejers, whose album Restoration was nominated for the 2008 Music Recording of the Year Award in the Best Dance Music Album category, explains: -I had already restored all those songs that I heard as ideas for a new sound and I no longer have didn't want to continue after the sequel. I had no new ideas in this area. But I wanted to do something. When working with the old songs, you have to obey the rhythm, harmony, arrangement and structure of the song as it is in the original version, but creating something completely new has a completely different freedom of action, and that's exactly what I wanted to use at the moment.
