As already reported in the info box for Stöpsel's farewell video, we also had to let our Pixelmouse go a week later with a heavy heart. Pixel is the only one not with us in the guinea pig graveyard. I took her to an animal pathology department where she was autopsied. The results are still pending. Sushi and Dezibel have also already been to the vet. Sushi also had an abnormal X-ray of her lungs. She is currently being treated. As soon as we know the exact bacteria, we will hopefully be able to give her the correct antibiotic. It's not an easy time, but unfortunately that's part of being an animal owner, or can be part of it. You should think beforehand: Can I take the last step with my animal (financially and mentally)?
