VIEW FROM ABOVE Today we will fly over the coastline of the city of Rio das Ostras, which is located on the northern coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The tour begins at Abricó beach, near the roundabout connecting the Amaral Peixoto RJ-106 and Serramar RJ-162 highways. Our tour passes by Tartaruga beach, Bosque beach, the craft fair, Poço das Pedras square and Centro beach with its shell-shaped amphitheater next to the Sambaqui historical site. It continues over Iriri lagoon, which has an imposing lookout tower that was under construction at the time. It also shows the Costazul Pier and Baleia beach and square, ending at the cable-stayed bridge on the Amaral Peixoto highway, which was built in 2007, not 2017 as mentioned in the video.
