This section called 'Notes and tips' is a complement to the videos and courses that I upload weekly to my channel and aims to further strengthen the previous knowledge that a person has of Revit. Initially, in addition to the main project, we will open 2 families. One of them will be the metric profile family and the other a generic model based on a face. In the first one, we will load a 2D model in AutoCAD, from a file corresponding to a corrugated sheet profile downloaded from the website of the material supplier of said brand. With lines, we will shape it and load it to the generic model family based on faces. In this model, with the sweep tool, we will create the family using the sketch line and the previously made profile. In addition, we will dimension both ends to implement parametric dimensions that will later allow us to manipulate the length of the family.
