Traces of enemy provocations are also slowly being erased in the Agdam village. Residential buildings destroyed by the armed forces of the occupying Armenia have been restored, and new and more modern houses have been built. The village of Aghdam in Tovuz, with a population of over 1,400, has been on the front line with the enemy for nearly 30 years. The villagers, distinguished by their courage and bravery, are still guarding our homeland as always. According to official information, 15 civilian houses were damaged in the village of Aghdam during the July battles. Most of these houses have been rebuilt, and some have been overhauled. Now work is underway in the village of Aghdam to implement new projects. Today, we proudly talk about the battles of Tovuz, where Major General Polad Hashimov, Colonel Ilgar Mirzayev and 10 other soldiers were heroically martyred. Now, like every Azerbaijani, they are proud. The glorious victory we won in the Patriotic War is also the revenge of the martyrs of Aghdam, a symbol of our historical victory.
