An isolated province on the edge of Nepal, in the heart of the Himalayas. A true initiatory journey, outside of time, awaits the actor. And at an altitude of over 4,500 m, he will meet Dolpo-pa families with moving destinies. In the northwest of Nepal, the high valleys of the Dolpo province remain a territory apart, imbued with mystery and spirituality. Dolpo, literally "the hidden country", is isolated from the rest of the world by some of the highest peaks on the planet, and by passes at an altitude of over 5,000 m. These lands have long remained foreign to any trace of modernization. Time seems to have stopped there. And although an integral part of Nepal, Dolpo is also a Tibetan and Buddhist enclave, in a deeply Hindu country. On the high plateaus, the landscapes are spectacular and dizzying. And it is in this mineral and arid universe that the Dolpo-Pa, semi-nomadic goat and yak breeders, live. Here, winter lasts six months. A particularly harsh winter. But, in September, these high-altitude valleys are adorned with green and gold, the color of barley fields ready to be harvested. These are the last weeks before the region is once again cut off from the world by snow and cold. So, for a few short weeks, the hamlets are in full swing: all the families help each other to prepare for winter. These are the precious and indispensable moments that Raphaël and Tomer will share with a close-knit community, with moving individual destinies. Beings as sunny and generous as their land is difficult.
