In this video I show the replacement of a double window with a door and window combination. Since I have never filmed such a project in my own house and outbuilding, I am now accompanying friends with the camera. They had covered their terrace and could now use a new access. Please see the video as a report of my experience and not as instructions. There is more to consider when replacing all the windows in a house. I have gradually replaced almost 40 windows in my own house and outbuilding using similar methods over a period of 15 years. Fortunately, no new window lintel had to be installed here. The video is primarily intended to entertain and provide inspiration. It was definitely exciting to film because I have never filmed and added sound while other people were on site. This often leads to the text for the camera being commented on by my friend (who doesn't wear a microphone). But I think it also adds a bit to the dynamic. Unfortunately, it is a little louder in the middle because of the rain. We had a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy watching it too.
