The symptoms of damaged valve seals are primarily smoke ;) And that's all there is to it. Usually, if the seals are just starting to leak, the car doesn't look like it's smoking a lot, but after a while of standing still, when we start, for example, from a traffic light, there's a cloud of smoke behind us. The part itself is very cheap. It costs less than a liter of fuel per piece. The whole set is about PLN 60-80 depending on the company. If you're already there, it's worth replacing the seals. The most surprising thing about all this is the torque of the camshafts in the N42, which is 10Nm. I think some people would be able to tighten something more with a screwdriver ????
