The cylinder-piston assembly is the heart of the scooter. It is through its action that the engine turns. However, a cylinder and a piston do not have an infinite lifespan and it may be necessary to replace them. This tutorial explains how to do this! Here is a tutorial on the assembly and disassembly of a top engine on a 139QMB/QMA bottom engine. To change the cylinder-piston kit, you will need a certain number of tools, a minimum of knowledge and a fair amount of willpower. To get to the essential tools, you will first need 8, 10, 12mm socket or pipe wrenches, a 9mm flat wrench, a cross-head screwdriver, needle-nose pliers or circlip pliers, and finally a cylinder piston in working order. Now that you are ready to start, make sure you work in a clean area where the floor is clear or covered by a sheet like here to avoid losing tools or objects, then start by disassembling the trunk and all the fairings hindering access to the cylinder.
