Replacing a broken shift cable on a bicycle - detailed workshop

In this video we remove a broken shift cable from a Shimano shift lever. A few weeks ago the shift cable in my shift lever broke, which meant that the end piece of the Bowden cable was stuck in the shift lever. The shift lever now needs to be opened and the broken end piece removed. The shift lever is then reassembled and a new shift cable threaded through. I also show where you can download the Shimano technical manual for your Shimano components from the Internet. In my case it is the shift lever.
