During the operation of our tractor at the site, the excavator-loader operator reported a play in the lower pin at the attachment point of the rotary pedestal and carriage. It was decided to finish the shift and then carry out an inspection and the necessary repairs. When the tractor arrived at the garage after the end of the work, we were very surprised at the condition of this entire unit. As a result, in addition to a broken conical hole on the rotary pedestal (headstock), we also got a flared hole on the carriage. This video shows how we cope with the situation. In conclusion, I can give you some advice: fix everything on time, monitor the condition of the holes, pins and bushings.
