In this video I show you how I repaired my damaged gabion wall for slope stabilization after severe storm damage. A beech tree about 30 meters high fell on my stone baskets and caused considerable damage. In order to repair the gabion wall with as little effort as possible, I used an effective method. Instead of removing all 15 baskets and rebuilding them, I laboriously emptied the damaged baskets by hand. Then I installed new baskets in the existing structure and put the stones back in place by hand. This work took me two days and a lot of energy, but I was able to avoid complete dismantling.
