Many large watches used alarm devices back in the Middle Ages. But there was a problem with an alarm clock in a wristwatch, because it was necessary to squeeze two separate full-fledged mechanisms into a small case, which at the same time had to be interconnected. In order to squeeze so many parts, very high manufacturing precision and a tight arrangement of all the elements inside the wristwatch case are required. A successful example of the development of one of the first watches with an alarm is the caliber 1475 of the Swiss company AS. It appeared in 1954. Its main differences were the simplicity and reliability of the design and small size. Thanks to these qualities, Swiss cricket watches gained wild popularity. In the Soviet Union, they did not want to lag behind, and a couple of years later, the development of a domestic analogue of the successful Swiss on the caliber 1475 began. Our mechanism was called "Signal" with the index 2612. The machine turned out to be so reliable that it almost surpassed its ancestor. The release continued for 20 years without any significant changes and only in 1978 the mechanism was improved and modernized, after which it received the index 2612.1 Not every mechanism can boast such a long production period. Nowadays, the basis is still the caliber 2612 or better yet, simply Sverchok. Today we will disassemble and defect an interesting and beautiful model of presidential watches with a heart, Poljot 2612. In this video, we will conduct a complete disassembly of the mechanism down to the screw and spring and in the process we will definitely discuss the disassembly. Well, in the next video we will already begin the assembly. Enjoy watching ;)
