In this episode, we repair a fairly efficient switching power supply. We look for damaged elements, and when that doesn't give any results, we connect it and measure the voltages. It turns out that the damage is on the secondary side, and it's quite unusual. You'll find out what caused the power supply not to work by watching the video ;) ----------------------------------Table of contents-------------------- 0:00 Introduction, what's wrong? 1:03 Opening the case, watch out for the capacitor! 2:44 Inside the power supply 4:15 Looking for damaged elements 6:33 Are the electrolytes OK? 7:52 Checking the optocoupler 9:26 Cleaning the board of sediment 10:16 Voltage measurements 13:14 Analysis of the feedback circuit 16:08 Where was the buried dog? 17:57 Will the power supply start? 18:17 Checking current efficiency 19:12 Summary, ending ----------------------------------------------------------- Don't want to miss new videos?
