Very easy to install, the DNI7574 battery terminal is a great option for any situation where it is necessary to disconnect the battery frequently. The first and most common application to be used is in older cars used only as a hobby, these cars are parked for a long time and only go out to drive on weekends or at classic car events and there is nothing more unpleasant than getting in the car to leave home for a nice day with the family and the car not starting. Many owners of old cars remove the battery terminal to prevent anything from consuming energy while the car is stopped. To make this process easier, the battery terminal with a current cut-off switch has an on/off switch that turns one way to put the battery pole in contact with the car cable and turns the other way to remove the contact between the pole and the terminal. The manufacturer states that the switch supports 70ah of nominal consumption and 500ah of peak consumption, which is more than enough to power any car or agricultural vehicle that does not have an excess of electrical accessories. The terminal is made of very thick brass and offers good resistance, although it requires maintenance, just like regular terminals. I recommend using the battery terminal with a current cut-off switch because it makes disconnection easier and also prevents accidents when a short circuit occurs in the wiring, and it is easy to disconnect.
