There are numerous brain injuries caused by a stroke and, as a consequence, many of the affected people suffer from hemiparesis (loss of strength and dexterity) or hemiplegia (paralysis). Problems with movement of the right or left half of the body are observed, above all, in the difficulty in walking and in the affectation of the upper limb. The rehabilitation of the hand and arm after a stroke is, in many cases, a 'pending subject' to which the Menni Network is fully committed. To show how the rehabilitation process of those upper limbs with moderate affectation is addressed in the Brain Damage Units of Hermanas Hospitalarias, the Brain Damage Service of the Aita Menni Hospital has recorded this video.
