This is a gripping and funny story about brave Alex, a parrot fish who dreams of becoming a superhero. He gets his chance when a mysterious stream of black goo erupts near his coral reef. Then Alex and his friends - a seahorse, an eel and a grouper - swim off to confront the threat and save their home, they encounter a sunken ship with hidden treasures, an abandoned plane, angry sharks and an underwater volcano. Alex the parrot fish always wanted to be a superhero. He gets a chance to show his strength when a strange black goo pollutes the reef. Alex has to find the cause and save the sea creatures. Alex the fish works as a cleaner on the coral reef and loves his home very much. Few people notice his work, but it is thanks to Alex that the fish live in cleanliness and order. One day, a mysterious dark liquid appears there, which they can’t get rid of. Alex sees this and warns his fellow fish about the danger, but in response he hears only ridicule and humiliation. Alex, dreaming of recognition and glory, decides to save the fish from an ecological disaster and prove to everyone that he was right. Together with his faithful friends - seahorse Christina, eel Eleanor and bass Ed - Alex sets off on a dangerous journey to find the source of the black liquid and prevent pollution. The heroes will see a sunken ship, find treasures, encounter sharks and overcome many other dangers. Will they be able to return as heroes and save their home? To find out, watch the cartoon "Reef.
