This is a documentary film on the restoration of the national treasure "Takami Senseki Statue" by Watanabe Kazan, housed at the Tokyo National Museum, which took place over a 24-month period from October 2013 to September 2015. The restoration and filming of this film were made possible by a grant from the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Cultural Heritage Conservation Project.
