On the occasion of the birthday of Professor Shahram Nazeri, Shahram Nazeri, born on 19 Bahman 1328 in Kermanshah, is a Kurdish-Iranian musician and singer who has left valuable works in Iranian music. He is a well-known singer of authentic Iranian music and is nicknamed the "Knight of Iranian Singing". The Asia Society has called him "Asia's Top Artist", the New York Times has called him the "Persian Nightingale", and the Christian Science Monitor has called him the "Luciano Pavarotti of Iran". In 2007, he was awarded the Legion of Honor by the French government and in 2014, the French "Chevalier Nationale de L'Improvement". His first albums were released as joint albums with Mohammad Reza Shajarian in the late 1950s by the Chavush Center. Shahram Nazeri created valuable works in Kurdish music and had valuable collaborations such as collaborations with the groups Kamkarha, Astid, Parviz Meshkatian, Mohammad Reza Lotfi, and ...
