Throughout the year it mostly leads an inconspicuous existence, but at Christmas at the latest it takes centre stage: the walnut. As decoration for the Advent wreath or in Santa's bag - the nut can be found everywhere. And it doesn't just look good: with its mild nutty aroma, the legume also gives Christmas pastries that certain something. This year, the Grafschafter Christmas factory is putting the walnut at the centre of the pastry plate with the Grafschafter walnut croissants. The croissant-shaped biscuits perfectly combine the mild taste of the walnuts with the tart sweetness of the Grafschafter Goldsaft. A pinch of anise also provides a special aroma.
