Really good vintage car meeting in the village - Göbitz 2024

The classic car meeting in Göbitz - Elsteraue - in the Burgenland district took place as part of the village festival. I had actually expected a rather small meeting with just a few cars. But the opposite was the case. This meeting was really big and varied for the setting. Really great cars from a wide range of brands and even some that I hadn't seen at any meeting before. The village association as the organizer probably hadn't expected the rush of vehicles. But they were flexible here and simply expanded the area around midday so that all the arriving classic cars could be presented. Entry was free for the vehicle and driver. Only passengers cost 5 euros - an interesting and, in my opinion, very fair entry policy. In terms of gastronomy, there was a lot of variety due to the village festival. The classic car meeting was also moderated and the departure for the 2-hour trip was quick and orderly. All in all, a great meeting in my immediate area (25 km journey), which I will certainly visit again in the next few years.
