※ This video is part of <Frame People - Self-Documentary School Part 1 The Story of Minsago We Didn't Know> broadcast on November 30, 2015. With the highest average college entrance exam score in the 2015 school year, 75% of all graduates have gone on to enter top domestic universities such as Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and Korea University, and 30% of students who have studied abroad have gone on to enter Ivy League schools. What is the power of this school? EBS's 'Frame People - Self-Documentary, School' deals with where Minsago's power comes from. From the time the wake-up song starts at 6 a.m. until the early hours of the morning when the lights in the dormitory never go out, every move of Minsago was captured on camera. There are 250 classes per semester, with 5-20 students per class. This school's teaching method, where students visit their respective teachers' labs to receive instruction, was possible because of the school's full support to achieve the best teaching effect. Accordingly, students thoroughly become the main subjects of their studies, presenting and discussing the content they have prepared, and leading the actual classes. In addition, through MPT (Minjok Peer Tutoring), a unique learning method of Minjok High School where students teach and learn from each other, the students stimulate each other and achieve academic development. In line with the founding philosophy of 'nurturing leaders of all walks of life in our country', this school puts effort into character and etiquette education as well as academics, and archery is a required subject. Honjeong, which means 'going to the parents' bedroom before going to bed and asking them to stay well all night', is practiced by bowing to the headmaster every night. In addition, various special activities such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, and gayageum performance are offered, and students can also create and participate in clubs in areas of interest and learn about their aptitude and talent. We introduce various aspects of school life that are a source of energy, such as 'Chicken Day' that Minjok High School students are crazy about once a month, 'Honjeong Bread' that excites children, and eating out at rest areas on weekends. Also, students and teachers directly participated in the production process with cameras.
