The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is the fastest and most powerful combustion production pickup truck on the planet. Why do we say this? Powerful with its 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and fast because it does zero to 100 km/hr in 4.5 seconds; zero to 160 km/hr in 10.5 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 174 km/h. And what does it do all that with? With a beautiful 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8. And to keep the 2.8 tons that this thing weighs with all 4 wheels firmly on the ground, it has Bilstein Blackhawk E2 nitrogen adaptive shock absorbers that prevent fatigue in demanding and prolonged use. And it doesn't stop there. Ram says it used the same platform as a normal RAM 1500, but only 25% of the elements are similar to each other, for example the chassis itself was reinforced with high-strength steel that makes it more rigid and helps it support more, just look at the skid plates it has to protect the engine, transmission and other elements.
