A freight car with a conductor's room is still in operation. This is the "Okifu 100" hopper car for transporting ore owned by Taiheiyo Cement. It is attached to a freight train that connects mining sites in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, with a cement factory in Kumagaya City.
