Performance: Yamaha's new faired motorcycle, the YZF-R15 ABS, debuts in the sportfun, sporty and fun motorcycle category. The younger sister of the R3 ABS, a member of the R-Series family, it has a powerful 155 cc single-cylinder engine with exclusive liquid cooling and variable valve timing, the VVA, which ensures agility in starts and restarts. Developed with the goal of efficiency and fuel economy, it reaches maximum power of 18.8 hp at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 1.5 kgf.ma at 8,500 rpm. Yamaha's DiASil technology, an aluminum-silicon casting, contributes to reduced vibration, better heat dissipation and increased performance. The 6-speed gearbox allows for exciting riding and its slipper and assist clutch prevents the rear wheel from locking up under sudden braking and allows gear changes to be made in a controlled and smooth manner. The Deltabox chassis strikes a balance between rigidity and lightness to deliver greater stability at high speeds and on curves. Technology: The multifunction panel is 100% digital with LED lighting and a white background, ensuring contrast of the information on the display at any time of day. The Shift Light located at the top of the panel indicates the ideal time to change gears. The display includes the tachometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator and VVA indicator, which shows when the system favors sporty operation. In addition to the average speed, instantaneous consumption and average consumption indicators, the speedometer, the total odometer and two partial odometers (TRIP-1 and TRIP-2), the “Fuel Trip”, which indicates the mileage traveled in the fuel reserve, the clock, and also the indicator lights for the turn signals, high beam, neutral and engine temperature warning, ABS system operation warning and engine warning light. Comfort: The YZF-R15 ABS suspensions are clearly more robust when compared to those equipped on other motorcycles up to 160cc. The rear is an aluminum monocross type, ensuring low weight and minimizing twisting, and the shock absorber is fixed by means of links, providing greater comfort and smoothness in absorbing impacts. The ABS braking system on both wheels prevents the wheels from locking in situations of low grip on the road. Braking power is guaranteed by the 282 mm discs at the front and 220 mm at the rear. With 10 spokes, the alloy wheels have a diameter of 17 inches and are fitted with wide tires, the front measuring 100/80-17 and the rear measuring 140/70-17. This ensures the motorcycle's more stable behavior, greater grip on curves and better impact absorption capacity for a more enjoyable ride. Design: Striking and bold lines, developed in a wind tunnel to optimize air flow and offer aerodynamic performance. Front part with M-shaped intake duct, inspired by the Yamaha YZF-M1 from MotoGP. The fairing and headlight assembly is called “bright eyes”, and has a position light and LED headlight, ensuring greater brightness. There is also a headlight flasher and an LED taillight. Thanks to the inspiration from competitions, there is even space above the headlights for the application of race numbers. The horizontal lines on the sides, with a low front and high, tapered tail, give the bike a well-fitted riding position. Its low and wide 11-liter fuel tank, with an aviation-type cap, allows the rider to position himself better behind the windshield, and the leg rests provide good support for fun riding in everyday activities and even on the track. #yamaha #r15 Find out more at: https://www3.yamaha-motor.com.br/r15-...
