Kigali Amendment and Natural Refrigerants R-290 as a refrigerant in refrigeration systems – Fundamentals and Application Enio Bandarra, mechanical engineer from UNESP, with a Master's and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from USP. He completed 2 Post-Doctorates, one at USP in 2004 and another in Switzerland in 2008. He is an Associate Professor and develops several researches at the Laboratory of Energy and Thermal Systems of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Federal University of Uberlândia. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds – England, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2015/16. He currently has about 50 articles published in specialized international journals and more than 200 articles in national and international Congresses. He has been awarded several prizes, including Best International Paper presented at IIAR 2017 in San Antonio, USA, Best Paper at Mercofrio in 2012, 2014 and 2016, and Best Paper at Conbrava 2013 and 2015. He is a member of the following professional associations: ANPRAC, ASHRAE and ABCM. He holds a CNPq research productivity scholarship.
