Would you like to work for a company in Spain and do an internship as a foreigner? Are you studying with your student visa and want to change to a work permit as soon as possible? In this video we will tell you everything! We will see in detail everything you need to know about this residence permit for professional internships, a permit that will be granted to you to work either through a contract or an internship agreement for a self-employed person or company. Being under the entrepreneurs' law entails important advantages, such as a quick resolution (in 30 days or less), or the ability to apply directly from Spanish territory. In addition, it is a flexible and agile option for both the student and the contracting company, since the internship does not have to be full-time, and contracts can be made for a minimum of 3 or 6 months. ???? Who can apply? Students who are studying or have completed level 6 or higher studies in the last two years (degree or master's degree, master's or doctorate, although higher vocational training is also valid). It is possible to apply for this authorization whether you are a foreign student in Spain staying for studies or if you are still in your country of origin. ???? What are the main requirements? ✅ Firstly, the job and the tasks to be carried out by the intern must be equivalent to the area of study and the educational level. ✅ It is important that the company does not have any type of debt with Social Security or the Tax Agency. ✅ The student must have private health insurance valid for 1 year, without waiting periods or co-payments. ✅ In addition, they must demonstrate possession of sufficient financial means (100% of the IPREM). ✅ Regarding the required documentation, it will be important to present the EX-06 application form, the internship agreement or contract signed by all parties involved, and a document drawn up by the company detailing the conditions and duration of the agreement or contract. ???? How long does it last? In the case of an internship contract, the minimum duration is 6 months, and a maximum of 1 year. At the end of this year, it is possible to renew for an additional year. If we are referring to an agreement, on the other hand, the maximum duration is 6 months, although less can be specified in the agreement; and renew for 6 more months. The duration of the residency will be equivalent to the duration of this agreement. Once these periods are over and it has been renewed once, the student must change to a work permit for someone else if he wants to continue working for the company. ????????????????????
