About :

Varvakeios Agora is a municipal market, which owes its name to its benefactor Ioannis Varvakis. Construction began in 1878, and the facility has been operating continuously since then. It is a unique market building, which is home to many traders of food products such as meat, poultry, seafood, and agricultural products. Omonoia Square - "Concord Square", is the central square in Athens and is one of the city's main transport hubs. Built in 1846 and called Palace Square, the area was to be developed for the construction of a palace. The square's name was later changed to "Othonos Square" in honor of King Otto, the first king of Greece. After Otto's dethronement in 1862, the squares were renamed "Omonoia Square". Exarchia (Greek: Εξάρχεια) is a district of Athens known as the historic center of Athenian intellectualism and radical political activism. The district includes the National Archaeological Museum, the National Polytechnic University, and Strefi Hill.
