Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives held a hearing with the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas) of the Attorney General's Office, the Head of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office and the Head of the South Tapanuli District Attorney's Office, following the case involving Attorney Jovi Andrea Bachtiar, Thursday (11/21/2024). For information, the Prosecutor from the South Tapanuli District Attorney's Office (Kejari Tapsel) of North Sumatra, Jovi Andrea Bachtiar was thrown into prison following his alleged criticism of his colleague at the Kejari Tapsel named Nella Marsella. In response to this case, the Attorney General's Office proposed dismissing Jovi Andrea Bachtiar because he was said to have committed indisciplinary actions.
