With its armoured wheeled vehicles such as the Bushmaster, Boxer and Fennek, 13 Light Brigade can be deployed quickly and widely. The brigade's main location is in Oirschot, Noord-Brabant. ???? 13 Light Brigade has two armoured infantry battalions that together form the combat force. Infantrymen are the soldiers who fight on the ground. They can do this under all circumstances, day and night. For this purpose, they have, among other things, communication equipment, night vision equipment and armoured (wheeled) vehicles such as the Fennek, Boxer, Bushmaster and all-terrain vehicles. The combat support and logistic units of 13 Light Brigade ensure that the armoured infantrymen can do their work. They protect the combat units by detecting explosives, building bridges, clearing roads and hindering the enemy. In addition, they carry out reconnaissance, provide supplies and transport, arrange the repair of equipment and provide medical care.
