This series was created by a communications intern of the Royal Netherlands Army: Vera Muller. She did this internship because of her studies at Avans University of Applied Sciences Breda. Vera: “The reason why I started this series is out of my own fascination and curiosity. As a student, I live around the corner from the Royal Military Academy and often cycle past it. I always wondered what happens behind the fences. Moreover, my father used to attend the Royal Military Academy. Who are studying there in 2021? And why did they choose this military training to become an officer? I am glad that the cadets wanted to give me an insight into their lives and the world of the Royal Military Academy” - Vera Müller (director). Who are the people behind the uniform? What are their motives for working in the military? And what is their personal story? You will find out in the new series “Behind The Uniform” of the Royal Netherlands Army. Royal Military Academy edition: Are you curious about the lives of Royal Military Academy students? In this first season of Behind The Uniform we take a look into the lives of five officers-to-be.
