Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and then store in the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes. This makes the dough easier to work with afterwards. After the cooling time, knead the dough briefly on a floured work surface, roll it out and dust the rolling pin with flour so that the dough does not stick. Now cut out cookies using the desired shapes and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Now place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake one after the other in the preheated oven for 15 - max. 16 minutes until light brown, then take them out and allow to cool well! The nougat filling Cut the nougat into pieces and melt in a water bath, stirring constantly. Caution: No water should get into the nougat. Sprinkle a small blob of the nut-nougat mixture on the middle of half of the cooled cookies with the bottom side facing up, then carefully press a second cookie onto the nougat mixture. Then allow the finished nougat cookies to cool well. Chocolate and nut decoration Briefly toast the chopped hazelnuts in a pan! Be careful, they can burn very quickly. Cut the chocolate into pieces and melt in a water bath, stirring constantly. Caution: No water should get into the nougat! Now dip the cooled biscuits with filling halfway into the chocolate and decorate with the roasted hazelnuts. Place the biscuits on a plate to cool.
