From 2023, there will be a new first part of the central examinations for the secondary school leaving certificate (HSA) and the intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA) at the secondary, comprehensive and middle schools in NRW with tasks without aids. Formula collections and calculators may not be used for the tasks from the aid-free part of the examination. Only a set square / ruler and a compass are permitted. My practice tasks for part 1 of the examination without aids are based on the official example tasks published by the Ministry of Education. This video is specifically about sorting numbers by size. Who is where on the number line? This is how you find out which number is the largest number and which is the smallest number. You have to be able to take roots and handle powers and powers of ten as well as fractions.
