The desire to have Predin come as our guest has existed since our podcast existed, but the opportunity had to wait for the right moment. Although he is a regular guest in Belgrade, it was only with his new project "Analogna rasa" (together with Nikola Čutiril — Čutura) that he started staying here long enough that we managed to hang out and set aside time for filming. Zoran is one of the most prolific music creators of the former Yugoslavia. He has almost fifty different releases behind him, both in his solo career and with the band Lačni Franz. From the end of the seventies, with the birth of the new wave, Lačni Franz were, and it turned out to be, significant representatives of this movement. Wrapped in wafers of self-irony under the influence of Bulldožer and engaged lyrics often wrapped in erotic tones due to the censorship that existed at the time, and then the strong punk influence that then exploded in the area of ​​the former Yugoslavia, Lačni Franz created an authentic and unique expression that continues today . In his career, Zoran Predin was fascinated by the whole chansonnier scene, so he collaborated very closely and created music with people like Arsen Dedić, while at the same time he devoted a large part of his creativity to "gypsy swing" under the influence of musicians like Django Reinhardt . In the meantime, Zoran Predin also became a writer, so his first novel "Mongolske Fleke" saw the light of day a few years ago, and his new novel "Bezgrešna" was published in Croatia in the spring of this year, while our edition is still being published. is waiting.
