My parents discouraged me from being in politics. Dad is a doctor and mom is a housewife – and unfortunately it is a profession that tends to disappear. In my time, you “had to” study to be a doctor or a civil engineer. Because I am on a committee in the European Parliament on issues of Education and Culture, I have the question: why don’t children want to go to school? Why shouldn’t we change this? I was a consistent student but I didn’t like school. For example, now, the ancient books that I didn’t want to read, I now know what their value is. I think I am stricter than my father, with my children. I want them to have Values”. ???? On the subject of faith, Nikos Anadiotis underlined: “Faith is not your personal choice, it is not discovered, but revealed. I believe that everything that happens to me in life is because “someone” allows it. I take it as a gift. There were principles at home regarding faith. I am stricter on the issue of faith with my children. Nothing happened in my life to make me know God. It came to me as a calling on its own and I took it seriously. Then I studied and it became part of my life. Three things you cannot take away from me: my knowledge, my faith and my dignity". ????️ Regarding political contribution, he stressed: "We should serve the people, even politics has been wrongly perceived by the world. Politicians should serve the people. I prayed for the soul of K. Simitis, but as a politician he has not left a positive impression on me. Unfortunately, Greeks have a short memory.
