Details: https://pwr.edu.pl/cern-na-pwr Prof. Krzysztof Meissner is the author of over 80 articles on theoretical elementary particle physics, theory of gravity and cosmology. He collaborated with the creator of string theory Gabriele Veneziano from CERN in Geneva, where he was a visiting professor for many years. Together with Hermann Nicolai from the Max Planck Institute, he proposed an extension of the current theory of elementary particles and studies the nature of dark matter resulting from this extension. He collaborates with Roger Penrose from the University of Oxford in the observational search for traces of the previous universe. He is the spokesman for the OSQAR experiment at CERN. For many years, he has been a member of the Program Council of the Science Festival in Warsaw, for several years he was its chairman.
