The goal of the project is to describe the history of Georgia through criminal cases. Each film is based on a specific criminal story, parallel to which is the description of the general situation in Georgia at that time. The project is based on two archives kept in the archival department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the criminal cases of the Soviet Security Service and the material of the Communist Party archive, where the decisions made at the level of all links of the party are collected. In addition, periodicals of that time, as well as documents of the National Archive of Georgia, were used for the preparation of the project. The combination of all this allows us to fully describe a specific era. The first part of the project is the film "Comrade Bandits" - two series 1921-1923 - Chaos in Georgia. The period when Georgia is newly sovietized and the Soviet system is slowly gaining a foothold in the country. The main characteristic of the situation at that time is the abundance of gang formations. One of the prominent gangs is the group of Shakro Mosulishvili, nicknamed "Crazy", operating in Kakheti, which for 5 years did not give rest to the markets of Sighnaghi, Kvareli and Telavi. The bandit Mosulishvili, who became a communist after the arrival of the Bolsheviks and under the guise of a party member, robbed night after night. The "Crazy" gang is responsible for dozens of murders, robberies, robberies, and oppression of civilians. 7 large-scale clashes took place between the gang and the Cheka's special squad - "Chon". The Mosulishvili gang was neutralized in 1923 by the Cheka's special operation. In addition to "Crazy Gang", the film tells how the Soviet government was established in Georgia, how ordinary citizens lived, what customs and superstitions existed in Georgia at that time.
