While working as the Russian ambassador in Vilnius, Aleksandras Udaltsov made a number of demarches against Lithuania. Leaked data show that A. Udalcovas continues this activity even after finishing his career as a diplomat and being on the European Union's sanctions list. A. Udalcovas was added to the EU sanctions list about a year ago. The reason for this is the activities of the former ambassador at the head of the Russian organization "Fund for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad", also known by the shorter name "Pravfond". The portal 15min already wrote about the activities of "Pravfond" in financing pro-Russian organizations in the Baltic countries several years ago. And the new leaked data from Pravfond, which was received and shared with "Siena" by the Danish national broadcaster DR, shows that the organization led by A. Udaltsov may even be behind several processes directed against Lithuania. In the leaked documents, we found data that shows that Pravfond is active in financing complaints against Lithuania to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and other international institutions. The Pravfond documents include the names of the persons convicted in the January 13 case, as well as Stanislovas Tomas, who calls himself a lawyer, and Algirdas Paleckis, who was convicted of espionage.
